MICHAEL MINTON

 
Director/Screenwriter, Post Production Supervisor & Development
 
Michael Minton has served as Director, Producer, Writer and Director of Photography on a number of Independent Feature Films, National Television commercials and Industrial Films, as well as serving as Post Production Supervisor.  He also served as Stage Manager for PBS Affiliate KERA TV Channel 13 in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Market, and worked on the National PBS Television Program OSSIE AND RUBY.  He also Directed and wrote for Live Improv Comedy shows in the Dallas area.  He has been a part of the film industry for several years now.  He has Directed, Produced and Written Television Commercials for the National Retail Chain RENT AMERICA, Inc. and Corporate Industrial Films for Major Corporations including FIRST HORIZON HOME LOANS, TEMPLE-INLAND and The SPECIAL OLYMPICS.

Minton served as Director of Photography on the short film ESCAPE (1992), and worked on the short film NIGHT MEN (1992).  He worked as Producer and 2nd Unit Director on the Independent Feature Film: RINGS, AN OLYMPIC STORY (1993) Starring David Homb.  Minton was Director of Photography and 2nd Unit Director on the Independent Feature Film: ONE BAD MICE (1997)  He co-produced, co-wrote and Directed the Independent Feature Film YOUNG PRODUCERS (1999), currently in development with a Larger budget. Minton was a principal in Productions West Communications, and then in Monarch Films, Inc., serving in several business and creative capacities for each of the these entertainment companies.

He co-produced, co-wrote and served as Supervising Director on the Independent Feature Film CREEPTALES (2004) Starring Tom Kenny, which was released on DVD throughout the U.S. and soon to be on 13 Top Broadband Pay-Per-View Movie Networks. In addition, Michael has two feature screenplays he wrote that are currently in Development with Silver Creek Pictures: the Action-Comedy/Drama REMEMBER THE ALAMO, and the Action-Sci-Fi Picture: BOGMAN, He is also working to develop a High-Concept, Live-Action adaption of a 1960's Action Cartoon series (TBA). Michael's extensive Feature Film background has created entertainment value in the Film Industry that will continue to grow in the years ahead with Silver Creek Pictures.
