KERRY GAMMILL Conceptual
Art/Creative Consultant
Kerry
Gammill began his art career in 1978 joining the
stable of artists at Marvel Comics in New York where he illustrated the
adventures of characters such as SPIDER-MAN,
INDIANA JONES, CAPTAIN AMERICA, THE X-MEN and THE
FANTASTIC FOUR. He also worked early in his
career on the Late-Night TV show "The Museum of
Horrors," from NBC Affiliate KXAS TV Channel 5 in
Dallas/Ft. Worth,
working along with Jesse Sherman. In 1988 Gammill
took over the pencil art on DC Comics' SUPERMAN.
Other work for DC included: TEEN TITANS, POWER
GIRL, ELVIRA'S HOUSE OF MYSTERY and HAWK AND DOVE.
In 1996 Gammill switched from Comics to Feature
Film work doing designs or storyboards for several
major motion pictures including: PHANTOMS (1998) Starring Ben
Affleck, SPECIES II (1998) Starring Michael
Madsen, WRONGFULLY ACCUSED (1998) Starring Leslie
Nielsen, and VIRUS (1999) Starring Jamie Lee
Curtis, TV shows including: THE OUTER LIMITS, STARGATE SG1, DREAMCATCHER, TREMORS-THE SERIES,
G.I. JOE: VALOR VS VENOM, and the Video Game AREA
51. He also served as Art Director on the
Independent Feature Film CREEPTALES (2004)
Starring Tom Kenny, and designed the film's Poster
Art and DVD Wrap Art.
In recent years Gammill has provided conceptual
art and illustrations for several Nationally
Recognized kid-oriented Promotional Agencies. In
2002 an Art Book entitled KERRY GAMMILL'S DRAWING
MONSTERS AND HEROES FOR FILM AND COMICS was
published Nationally by Vanguard Productions, made
available at Barnes & Noble and other Major Retail
Book stores. Gammill is Creative
Consultant, Conceptual Design Artist and Art
Director for Silver Creek Pictures, heading
up Design work for Projects in Development, as
well as Production story boards, and Promotional
Art for Marketing and Distribution. Current
projects in Development he's involved include BOGMAN and CREEPTALES 2:
THE NIGHTCREEPS. Silver Creek Pictures is
pleased to have Kerry bring his unique creativity
and experience to the company for projects in
Development, Preproduction and Production.
