Kenneth J. Hall, creator of the PUPPET MASTER film series has worked in Hollywood for 25 years as a writer/producer/director. Through his independent production company that President & CEO Hall started in 2003, BV Entertainment, Inc. develops and produces feature films, television shows, and home video releases. "The Fright Film Factory," a division of BV Entertainment was formed to produce low-budget high-concept genre features to be released on cable and DVD. Ken wrote/directed/executive produced the critically acclaimed Feature Film THE HALFWAY HOUSE starring Mary Woronov, his first completely independent feature-- a Grindhouse-style horror exploitation/comedy starring Mary Woronov.  HALFWAY HOUSE is the first release for the Fright Film Factory, featured on Showtime Extreme, and released on DVD through Skouras/Ventura. Recently, he wrote, produced and directed NIGHT VISIT, a contemporary horror/thriller short film starring Lynn Lowry, from Cronenberg's SHIVERS, Romero's THE CRAZIES, and Paul Schrader's CAT PEOPLE.

Ken moved to Hollywood in 1982, where he first became established as a SFX/Make-Up artist, working on numerous features, including THE TERMINATOR, GREMLINS II, BATMAN RETURNS, ADDAMS FAMILY VALUES, and CONEHEADS. Since then, he's created creatures for dozens of movies and TV shows, including the title beast for Roger Corman's CARNOSAUR and the octopus prop for Tim Burton's ED WOOD.  By the late 80s, Hall was working as a screenwriter, generating cult titles like DR. ALIEN, NIGHTMARE SISTERS, and TEST TUBE TEENS FROM THE YEAR 2000 starring Morgan Fairchild.  He then wrote and directed the Monster Movie METAMORPHOSIS, as well as creating the original PUPPET MASTER, the first of Paramount’s successful direct-to-video series.  He also developed GHOST WRITER, writing and directing the PG-rated syndicated TV Feature for Audrey & Judy Landers.

In 1995, Ken started Total Fabrication, Inc., which has become a well-regarded SFX/Make-Up Effects house serving the film, television and themed entertainment markets all over the United States. Through Total Fabrication, he's responsible for such diverse creations as characters and creatures for STAR TREK VOYAGER, BIG BAD BEETLEBORGS, POWER RANGERS, KRAA THE SEA MONSTER, and the infamous killer snowman film, JACK FROST (see SFX/Make-Up Creature studio).
