Originally from New York City, Gene is a partner in
BCJ Records. Over the years they have written
and produced hundreds of some of the most well known
songs in the world, working with such world renowned
artists as Otis Blackwell, The Harptones, Johnny
Maestro and the Crests, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis
Presley. Later they wrote and produced for
Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Aretha Franklin, Faith
Hill and Wilson Pickett. Many of these songs
became a part of American culture and can still be
heard on the radio today.
Gene helped produce,
promote and provide talent for such Radio stations
as CBS FM,101.1, (NY’s Oldies Station) nationally
recognized DJ’s, Don K. Reid and Bobby Jay and
Mickey B’s Oldies Juke Box Revue in the New York
metropolitan area.
Gene helped negotiate catalogue deals and Production
material for Publishing House, MPL Communications
for Paul McCartney and David Pullman of David
Pullman and Associates.
Gene has also been a big
proponent of providing charity assistance. He
has worked with such organizations as American
Cancer Society, Muscular Dystrophy Association, AIDS
Research, NY Games for the Physically Challenged,
The Live Channukah Telethon, The United Jewish
Appeal and Hurricane Katrina Benefit for Red Cross.
